A Female Engages In Excessive And Heavy Drinking And Finds First Class Help At An Alcohol Rehab Facility For Alcohol Withdrawals And Symptoms Of Alcoholism

Beth was the mother of four children. Beth had been feeling quite fretful lately and began to "medicate" herself by drinking two or three shots of bourbon every evening after she put her children to bed. After approximately six weeks of this drinking routine, she at last grasped the fact that rather than helping her unwind and deal with her difficulties, drinking made her feel less rested when she got up in the morning. This, consequently, made her feel more tense all through the day.

After thinking about her circumstance for two or three days, Beth decided to discuss her drinking situation with her closest friend. In fact, approximately thirty minutes into their chat, Beth's friend Jaslene, mentioned that she knew about a very supportive and highly qualified doctor at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment clinic. After talking to her best friend, Beth almost instantly got motivated to call the rehabilitation clinic and make an appointment.

Ten days later she finally got to meet the physician her best friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth told the psychiatrist that ever since she and her ex-husband got divorced, she has been having an extremely difficult time emotionally, spiritually, and financially.

As Beth was talking to the psychiatrist, she highlighted the point that she honestly thought that they waited long enough to know each other good enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, to the contrary, their lives appeared to go downhill. Moreover, both Robert and she began to drink, and their irresponsible and unhealthy drinking negatively impacted their love for one another, their relationship, and their finances.

The doctor explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her abusive and unhealthy drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the usual symptoms of alcoholism and that the most productive solution for this is alcohol treatment.

After spending four months in inpatient alcohol rehab, Beth was little by little able to realize that the real basis of her tension and her depression was the fact that she had not gotten to the bottom of her angry feelings she has expressed for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings upset her to such an extent that she became an alcoholic.

Armed with these insights and with the medications her physician prescribed, she finally quit drinking, she began to feel significantly less depressed, and she started scheduling more time for social activities with her friends and family. What is more, a few months after getting rehabilitation from her psychiatrist, began to date once again.

It was plain to see that Beth had come a long way. In point of fact, just about nine months after she stopped her therapy, she had finally laid the ghost of Robert, her ex-husband, to rest and was starting to feel more self worth and more spiritually "sound" and psychologically "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
