Every autumn I know I am going to enjoy football with my husband each Sunday. He has been a big fan of the Buffalo Bills for quite a long time, and each year his hopes of a trip to the Superbowl renews. Though I am aware that some-one has to win and some-one has to lose, my spouse and I always have the same conversation about why the Bills are not in the big game at the end of the season. I do love to enjoy football with him, but sometimes it can be a dangerous pastime.

My spouse doesn't just enjoy football. For him, it's a life experience that I cannot explain. If you were to be around to see my husband enjoy football, you would be under the impression that people can now converse through the t.v.. It is almost like a fitness routine. Not only does he roar at the competitors, he also yells at the coaches. He also disagrees with the announcers for most of the game. We do not need to talk about what he says to the referees. It's not pretty. In any case, it is amusing, but I am attempting to break it to him gently that they cannot hear him through the t.v. and the only thing that's going on here is that I get a bit of a head-ache.

I've considered having friends over to watch my spouse enjoy football. On some days I think I might be able to charge ticket admission. He's very serious about his football, and you can tell by the way he behaves. What is scary about this is that he is otherwise calm, cool, and collected. It's like football games brings out the more bold side of his personality that is rarely seen. He's getting a better fitness work-out than the competitors! It's almost as if he bottles up all of his emotions and then lets them out when it is time to enjoy football.

I can not say that he is the only guy that watches football games this way though. I can not tease him too much because I've seen this behavior in numerous other men. For some reason the coaches are all idiotic, and they are not qualified to watch football let on my own coach it and be in charge of the competitors physical fitness . It's probably more ordinary than anyone might imagine, and maybe that is why men get so loud in sports bars. I have come to discover that this behavior does not surface when men watch football. It comes about when they watch most sports.
